Nine and a quarter inches at ten past eight in the morning.

Now the part that made me sit down on my own work stool in the middle of a Tuesday.

The protein that gives a vessel its spring is called elastin. It is not collagen. Collagen is rope. Rope holds. Elastin is the thing that comes back.
